Since there's been some discussions about exhaust sound, I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread where everyone posts links to a video or sound file of their exhaust. I'll try to keep a running list of links on this first post as a handy reference if you want to hear various exhaust setups.

If you post, please provide detailed info regarding your mustang (year/motor), exhaust, and any further mods that may affect exhaust note. I'll make sure to post mine in the next few days. I'd be happy to help anyone that has difficulty posting links.

1964-1973
Nick (dodgestang) - 1965 mustang, 410 Cleveland, long tube header, 3 inch pipes, x pipe, flowmaster 40 series, dumps in front of the axle

Dave (gtvert01) - 1968 302 with a 4bbl Holley with Dynomax mufflers

1974-1978

1979-1993
Bob (blown50stang1900) - 1990 GT 5.0 - GT-40 302 with Paxton Supercharger, BBK full length headers, H pipe no cats, 40 series Flowmasters, Mandrel bend tail pipes with turn downs, all 2 1\2" {Clip to be posted}

(5.7LMustang) - 1989 Mustang-Mac full length headers, O/R H-pipe, 2 chamber Flowmaster dumps

1994-1998

1999-2004
Corey (coreyjo) - 2000 GT stock 4.6 V8. Exhaust mods include Bassani o/r X-pipe & 2-chamber flowmaster catback

Bill (linemup) - 2003 Mach1 w/ far from stock motor, Kooks 1.78LT headers & custom 3" exhaust

2003-2004 Cobra

2005+
John (boss281) - 2005 with bbk shorty headers, Bassani catted x-pipe and Mac axleback mufflers. Note there is a cam installed which is contributed to the lopey sound.

Bob (blown50stang1900) - 2009 GT with Flowmaster Super44 mufflers.

Paul (06legend) - 2006 GT with SLP #1, H pipe, C.A.I.)

Straight up idling? Or action shots and such?
You think anyone will notice the exhaust leak or squeaky spring?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gcd0e2PPvKM

1965 mustang, 410 Cleveland, long tube header, 3 inch pipes, x pipe, flowmaster 40 series, dumps in front of the axle.

Or just a stupid idling in the garage video I found
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSlqRaJDS7g

It was shot with a digital camera not a video recorder so the audio isn't that good.

Thanks for the clip Nick. I used the idling clip although the burnout clips were fun to watch.

Can't wait to see your clip Bob!

Keep'em coming!

I have since swapped out to JBA longtubes, an offroad h-pipe but keptthe Mac mufflers. I'll see if I can find the file and edit the post.
