From the Get Out Of The Cold website:
As the summer starts to wind down, we are looking to gearing up for the 2009 season.
The date of March 28th, 2009 has been marked on the track's calendar (Maryland International Raceway) for us to be there with the Swap Meet again.
We had a turnout of over 125 Mustangs last year, I hope we can get even more!
For those of you that want to come up the night before or stay overnight on Saturday with us, the official hotel is the Best Western of La Plata, which you can find on the Hotel Information section of this site.
We are currently talking with Outback Steakhouse in La Plata again for the Group Dinner for Saturday night. Make sure you sign up for dinner in the Dinner thread in the Forums.
Racer and Non-racer registrations are open in the Forum Section as well.
T-shirt orders are up. Make sure you get your size and color reserved before they are all gone. There will be some sold at the track, but if you want to make sure one fits you, pre-register for it.
So far things are looking good on the prize front. There will be prizes awarded, and of course the raffles to partake in.
If you think you can guess your ET and your RT combined, make sure you sign up for the Racers Gamble.

I have been there mentally since the trip back home. It was my first drag race and it was way radical, totally killer thrilling. Racing turned out to be the best extra $10 that I ever spent. Who knew I could do the 1320 and not miss a gear or crash. Trust me, if you are alive you want to join the herd and do this cruise.

My goal is a 12.10 or better that day. Have a few more mods going on this winter, still keeping it NA, and getting a close look at the tune for improvements...

12.10's will be well out of my range, but I hope to run with the other more stock 05+ Stangs running mid 13's. Gears to be installed and maybe a few more goodies during the winter. I can't wait!

| well im picking up my 79 fox tonight, I picked up a complete roller for $300 and ive got the 5.0 ho out of my country squire, Im hoping to have her together by then. |

Your still mighty slow !!!
Im hoping to bust some 8s with these .
I was able to get low 9s off the street tires . This should get me into the 8s for sure .
