Thanks for that last link. Has everything in the kit.

It appears this has come up enough to put these kits together.
The car is out of service for a day after process has started.
Well lit garage, floor jack, 4 jack stands, and a cooler full of beer :clinkmugs: Oh I've spent many a nights in that garage...

I remember with my 66' coupe I spent every night for about a week one time until my wife decided I was getting burned out - she was right - I looked pretty ragged.

But man that car sure looked good after a week of late night detailing, painting, etc. etc. :bows:

Well it appears that the Inner Rotor shield looks pretty rough too. I might as well plan on painting that too. This looks like a couple night project to do really reasonable job.

Paint party sounds good. That would be the only way Im doing it... If not Im getting mine painted in the spring.

Electric green: The rotors I purchased were not brand name ones. i did not go for true performance but rather the looks. I don't really do hardcore driving and heavy braking and mine seem to be doing the job just fine. I got mine from http://www.r1concepts.com i only paid $155 for all four rotors.
They have the cheapest brake pads and rotors i have seen yet. My friend has their rotors and pads on a 06 Altima SE-R for a year now and he has no complaints.

That's a real savings. I don't drive real hard either. I realy am after a good looking rotor to clean up the look you see through the alloy spokes of my wheels. It appears the ones you linked my too are also coated for preserving the look at half the cost.
Thanks for the link - I'm probably going to give them a call to verify that. That is key - to replace with something that is going to stay looking their best.
My stock rotors actually work really well they just look aweful.

Well I talked to the guys at R1Concepts and they say they do everything in house.
Cut, slot, drill, balance, plate - they will even plate your original rotors if you want. Everything from budget to performance.

I ordered some Dupli color Wheel paint and Clear coat and a Brake Caliper paint kit in black and I'm working on getting some rotors.
If it doesn't go into the body shop too soon for the door work, I'll post some pics of the before and after as so far as the wheel work is concerned - if I can just sweeze some time in the garage - for those interested.

We did the calipers with the high temp. Also another option is powdercoating. I have seen that turn out really nice and its durable.

I want to do mine as well. If everyone wanted to come to cecil county one Friday or Saturday night I have enough room to fit a couple in my garage. If a couple people brought some jackstands we'd be good. I have two sets. John knows I have enough room.
