I finally decided to remove my Mach460 stock stereo system and replace it with an aftermarket system. I purchased Polk component speakers (5 1/4") for the front and full range 6 1/2" speakers for the rear. I have an MTX 30Watt RMS x 2 amp to power the front speakers and will power the rears off the head unit. I also have an MTX mono 200 watts rms amp that will eventually power a single 10" subwoofer. I just completed most of the install today and will be finallizing the install over the next few weeks. I've also completed a detailed write-up on the procedure with lots of pics for anyone else that may be considering completing the replacement. UPDATE: I added the pics to my gallery. . Enjoy! |
