Two recommendations:
1. My son works at Meineke in Eldersburg (right at 32 and 26), and one of the other mechanics there, Todd, does all the gear work the RIGHT WAY. He's done my son's '87, which is driven and raced hard, and my '05 GT(both 4.10s), and my '97 GT (3.73s). I think they recommend true FRPP gears, not the rebranded Motive gears that were used for a short time. Those Motive gears are famous for whining.
2. Woodbine Motorsports in Woodbine. JJ specializes in Mustangs and Lightenings, and my work is split between my son's shop and JJ's shop. In fact, I had wanted JJ to do the gears in my two Mustangs, but he was out of town that week, and Meineke was able to fit me in, so Todd did them, and perfectly.
Either one does top notch work for about the same price.
