Post subject:  Replacing rear spoiler

The rear spoiler on my 2001 vehicle cracked at base where it is mounted on trunk. I have a replacement on hand, is there a torque setting for mounting bolts? Don't want to over tighten and damage replacement wing. Mahalo in advance

Just snug them. 1\4" drive ratchet snug. Should be about 36 in\lbs

BobT,
What about a sealer to prevent leakage into the trunk area? I think the Fox bodies used DumDum gum. Is there now a gasket?
