When I bought my 2003 Mustang GT in May 2012, my current automobile insurer wanted $550 to add the vehicle to my policy even though it's not a daily driver.

Risk Management Services of Maryland was able to get me a price of $233.

Suggest members call them at 410 526 6690 or http://www.rmsmd.com.

Highly recommend them for all insurance needs.

Is Risk Management Services of Maryland a specialty car insurer like Hagerty or Grundy Insurance which covers historic cars or special show cars?

Your 2003 GT is not old enough to be considered historic so I guess they were able to sell you an agreed value policy. While it is not a daily driver do you have mileage and useage restrictions?

Most regular car insurers like State Farm, Allstate, Geico, Erie, Progressive, The Hartford, Liberty Mutual, etc. cannot or will not offer these limited use policies which can be had for a great savings over their regular rates.

Risk Management Services is a local authorized agent for Grundy Insurance.
