 Post subject: Why not six gens?

I see so many Mustang sites listing five generations (like this one), with the first generation going from 1964 1/2 to 1973. I disagree and think the first generation went to 1970 (Falcon platform), the second gen is 1971 to 1973 (intermediate Torino/Fairlane platform). The mustang was built on a completely different platform 1971-1973, which is the fundamental difference in all the gens. Just one of my pet peeves. Am I wrong?
