The dealer is jacking me round over the racing stripes I bought as part of the selling price of the car. Anyone know of someone local that can do the job without regrets? |

I am interested in buying a new mustang but I was wondering if they apply racing stripes on the factory models or will it be something that I will have to do. |

Yes, the factory has stripes but they are not bumper to bumper. In my opinion they leave something to be desired if they stop at the edge of the Hood and trunk. I had professionally applied vinyl full stripes. It's been almost a year and if I had it to do again, I would have them painted. I know that it is expensive but in the long run I think it would be worth it. Oh one more thing either way go with at least 10" but the 12" are awesome. |

A buddy of mine, Rob, at does great meticulous work. His main focus of work is on vinyl stripes for the late model Mustangs. You will be happy if you go to him. |

I got my hood painted at Muscle Car Garage previously known as East Coast Automotive located in or around Bel Air. They did a great job and I dropped it off Monday morning and got it back Tues night! check out the cardomain link below to see some pictures of it. MCOM gets a discount too there since the owner is a member. I think it is 10%. Look at that reflection!! ![]() |
