I've been thinking about cams...and gears, now that my Sonic is a "toy". |

Try these cams on for size: http://media.putfile.com/Comp-Stage-3-cams Note that shops are finding the Stage 2 cams provide more torque and hp by themselves--the stage 3s (much to my disappointment) actually produce less UNLESS you also install matched ported heads. You won't feel much difference on the street either although they make a difference at the track in the upper rpm range. Sound cool too... figure $1000 for springs and retainers, and another $1000 to install... Do you know whose cams JPC users? Comp, Crane, BBR, etc??? John |

I would run 4.10 gears with those cams to get into their power band faster. If you have an automatic a stall converter may be recommended. |
