I just really like the way the Bullit looks with its' wingless tail end. So I took the wing off and filled the holes. She's in paint now getting the rear deck resprayed. Crazy ...maybe, but I like it. My car looks totally stripped down now except for the 2000 GT wheels and 255 Michelins. I did order some silver plated rotors and plan to paint the calipers and back plates. I'll probably repaint the GT wheels and then clear coat so they really pop. Dual exhaust with turn downs next...........

I really like these 99-04 Mustangs in all there different appointed exteriors but rarely do you see the body in its' stream line form.
I wanted to get the car as stream line as possible with the GT wheels and 255's. It's looking pretty good - kind of a sleeper look...I think the daul exhaust with turn downs will help with that.

I hope I didn't drop 10 HP ...maybe ten pounds or so

I also like the toned down look of the wingless Bullitts. But, like Dave , not sure how it would look on my convertible. Looking forward to seeing how yours came out.

I've just ordered a short 8" antenna to install when I'm finished with my brake job.
I'm putting on a set of Hawks and Powerslots all the way around. The painting of the calipers and back plate are taking extra time to dry.

get some wide rims/tires and that will look killer. at least 295's on some 10" wheels. 315's on a 10.5 look absolutely sick.

of course, lowering it a bit makes a huge difference. on the stock bullitt springs, i had a little too much gap between the fender and tire. be careful with 315's, bc my tires would rub the fenders at stock ride height. gotta be careful over bumps and steep inclines.
