After almost 40 years of trying, I finally got my hands on my father's 1972 red Mustang convertible (with 302) that he bought from the factory. It has the original 14" white walls now and I want to put 15" Magnums on it. Just looking for any suggestions for tire size? I like the original look and don't plan on turning it into a hot rod.

Cheers

Not sure if you purchased your Magnums or not, but Specialty Wheels has them at a very reasonable price and are top quality. I purchased 15x6s and 15x8s back in 2001 and they still look great. I had them originally on my 71 Mach I, then moved them to my 71 Boss 351 after purchasing it in 2007. If you are looking for the traditional look, purchase the 15x7s. This was the size that all of the bosses came with. For the tires, all of the bosses came with F60s all the way around (a tire dealer can translate the size for you). With the 71 -73 Mustangs, there is a lot of room in the back fender wells so you want some meat under them. If not the car will look a little funny with the smaller tires on the back.
