We had a great turnout for out April Club Meeting at the Green Turtle in White Marsh. Since the weather cooperated we held our parking lot social before the meeting. In addition to all of the Mustangs at the meeting, Diana Ludwig and Lauren Airing brought their new Ford Fusions to the meeting.
Diana just got her car this week so I got to tag along as a passenger. The Ford Fusion is an impressive car! Diana's car is loaded with luxury and performance features including an EcoBoost engine.
We signed up three new members, Todd Hamlett and his two sons, Brandon & Todd A. Hamlett. All three drive nice performance Mustangs. Todd has a 2012 Boss while his sons drive newer GTs.
We met in the private room at the Green Turtle and everyone was seen laughing, enjoying the good food and just having a nice time. Mike ran the meeting well and we were finished in an hour.
Heather Thompson brought everyone up to date with our busy event schedule which kicks off on Saturday April 11th. Dave Seibert and I will be holding a historical presentation of the 50th Anniversary of the Shelby GT 350 and the life and times of Carroll Shelby at the Prince Georges County Library at 2pm. We are hoping for good weather so that we can hold a parking lot social after the program.
Also on that same day the club is participating in a Drag Strip day in Hagerstown. Check our events page for more information. In May we kick off the car show season with our immensely popular Ocean City Cruise and Car Show Weekend.
