Hi All! Are we trading in Bacon Fest for Dessert Fest? I noticed that the first prize winner from last year - Bacon Lasagna - was omitted from the memories! Oh, how quickly we forget 3 pounds of bacon and 6 pounds of 6 cheeses intwined with 7 layers of ground beef and home made sauce! Anyway, Dave and I were hoping to make Bacon Fest again this year but we are going to OC over the 4th. So from us to you - have a great time and enjoy!

I was waiting for Bacon Fest but if this is taking the place of that event, then count me in also. My wife wants to know if her 1st place bacon brownies and Jenga championship will be challenged. |

Hi all, Mt. Airy, MD will be having there Fireworks Display on Saturday, July 5th. at the Mt. Airy Fire Department Fairgrounds, there will be music and games for the kids. Then Fireworks when it gets dark. Last year's fireworks display was very big for this community.
