January 2012 Membership Meeting - January 4, 7 PM

The January 2012 Membership Meeting will be Wednesday, 04 Jan, 7 PM, at East Moon Asian Bistro, 5725 Richards Valley Rd, Ellicott City MD. (410)313-8088. It's a new venue and a new location...so let's give it a try! Since MCOM has grown, we now have a lot of members south of the Baltimore Beltway as well and I'd like to alternate locations. See ya there!

Its right off Rt 100 at the Snowden River Parkway exit. Make a right on 108, and its in a small center on the right. This is right up the street from me. I may be able to make this one, barring anything school related.

Well, I didn't have school related stuff... I had to take my cat to the vet and had to have her put down.... She was around 15 years old... What a crappy way to start the year.

Thanks folks! Tough night sleeping last night no seeing her on her blanket/bed next to me. And not in her bed on the sofa when I came home from school today...

Sorry to hear about your cat Eric. It's like losing a family member. Last December we had to put down our 14 1/2 year old dog Lu. It was so sad yet she was suffering and it was the best thing to do for her.

In January we adopted a 2 year old American Staffordshire Terrier from the Adopt-A-Pet Animal Shelter in Reisterstown. They were one of our club's sponsors this year.

They have a lot of nice cats and kittens looking for a good home when you are ready to add another pet to your home. We were so devastated when we lost Lu but Kelsey helped us through our grieving period. We still miss Lu as we miss all of the dogs we've had as pets over the years but the house was too quiet without a dog and adopting a pet is the one of the most satisfying experiences you will ever know.

Not too sure on what I'm going to do right now. School takes alot of my time, and it's only going to get more hectic once I get into the Rad Tech program.

Well I missed the Jan meeting if any body was on the catoctin cruise u seen my little girl in my 84 t top she was taken to jhons Hopkins for emergency surgery the Tuesday before the meeting so I couldn't make it sorry will try to make the next one
