I have a problem with my 1970 cutting out. I discovered it's in the ignition switch or lock cylinder. If it turns to the off position just the slightest bit the car shuts off. I'm leaning toward the problem being in the lock cylinder. Can any one give a little help on how to change the cylinder?? Thanks...Chuck

Is the '70 a column key, or a dashboard key? If it is a dashboard key system, I probably have the directions in a shop manual (insterting a pin into the hole above the key and using a tool to un-screw the ring).
