I have a early model driver side front fender. I don't what year or model it is. Could someone give me a little info on what it is, I have a part number. C9ZZ-16006-0, or the 6s could be Gs! thanks

I don't have a reference manual that ID's part numbers for this, but if you could post a picture, I'm sure we could ID the thing.

Looks like a 1969 to me. 1969 & 1970 are very similar, but the side marker light is actually below the centerline - in front of the wheel. On a '69, that's part of the valance.

C9 designates a 69 which it is as the 70 has the side light in the fender.

A quick note on Ford part numbers
C9ZZ-16006-0
The C means in the 1960s
D will be 70s
E will be 80s and so on.....

The 9 means 9 so this is a 1969

The ZZ means was designed specificly for the Mustang. If it has different letters it was designed for a different model but could still be used on a Mustang.

The 16006 is the basic part number. All left fenders will be 16006 but the C9ZZ means it is specificly for a 1969 Mustang.

The 0 is the revision so this is the first version. There may only be one version.
