We will cruise through the Symphony of Lights in Columbia again this year. We will meet in the Christmas tree parking lot to begin going through at 5:00. After the cruise we will have dinner at Sonomas. Greg has graciously agreed to give us all a discount on our dinners. Please post if you will be cruising with us so we can make reservations for dinner. This was a lot of fun last year. Lets hope for better weather.

An outing to the Symphony of Lights, now in its 20th year, is a long-standing tradition for Howard and neighboring county residents. A spectacular display of more than 70 larger-than-life, animated and stationary light creations, it is a “must-see” during the holiday season.

Conveniently located in downtown Columbia's Symphony Woods, the display is open for vehicles from Monday, November 25, 2013 - Sunday, January 5, 2014.

Hours of operation:
Open 7 days a week, from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m., including holidays.
CLOSED December 31st for the Midnight at 7 event.
Driving through the display does not require a reservation.

Admission costs:
Minivans and other vehicles that hold up to 8 passengers: $20 per vehicle
Vans and other vehicles that hold 9 to 24 passengers: $45 per vehicle
Vehicles that hold 25 or more passengers: $125 per bus

Directions to Symphony of Lights at Symphony Woods, Columbia, Maryland:
From I-95, take Rt. 32 West (Exit 38-B) toward Columbia; exit at Rt. 29 North (Columbia Town Center); proceed to Exit 18-B (Broken Land Parkway) and follow signs to Merriweather Post Pavilion entrance on the right.

Proceeds:
All proceeds from Symphony of Lights benefit Howard County General Hospital.

We'll be there too. There is also a Living Social discount at the following link that costs $13 for the car load.

I was wondering if we were gonna do this again. I "should" be there... This semester has killed me. Finals next week. Praying I pass this class or i have to wait another year....
