Catoctin Mountain Cruise Sunday, October 20th 2013

If I have time to cruise the whole route, I will break away at the Sheetz\High School stop to pick up a couple of Apple Pies for dessert from the Catoctin Mountain Orchard.

Bob asked me to lead the contingent from Mt. Airy to Fredneck. Please be at the pzza hut parking lot by 0800. We leave promptly at 0820! Also - HAVE A FULL TANK OF GAS! There are no breaks on the cruise for fuel. There are 2 gas stations across the street from the pizza hut. Weather looks good. Bring cameras! Bring FRS radios if you have them. We will be on channel 4. See ya then!

As Scott said above, Make sure you fule up in Mt. Airy since there will only be one stop along the cruise where you can get gas. Since we`re on a time schedule we will not have time for everyone to fuel up. For the cruise we will be on channel 7 once we leave Frederick. Please note the new Frederick meeting location

so if I get this right, Scott and his people will be on Channel 4 and the rest of everyone else will be on Channel 7.

Yes, that's right...the folks coming from Mt. Airy are special and we have our own channel, son! But just so everyone goes home with a trophy and no one is special...we'll use channel 7. :banghead2:

The Family and I will be making this run as well. Bringing a veggie tray and a dessert (cookies or something along that line). I do have one question. I see that we are starting at "2421 Monocacy". Are we meeting at the CVS or in the Giant parking lot across from the CVS?
