Someone asked if we would attend the Havre de Grace Parade this year. Looking at their past years pictures and daily schedule, it looks like a blast. If we can get six or more cars for the parade precession, I will do the paperwork to get us in the parade.

July 6th
Annual Havre de Grace Parade & Fireworks
Parade 2pm, Concert 7pm, 9:15pm Fireworks
Parade begins at 2pm on Union Avenue. Concert will be at 7pm and Fireworks at Tydings Park to follow at approximately 9:15pm

Yea, I was the one that proposed the HdG parade. Lifelong Havre de Gracian here. It is a big parade and also a carnival in town too. And the fireworks are pretty good shot up over the Susquehanna river and ches. bay. I would also propose people could come by my house after parade/before fireworks for some grubbin/grillin

That is aways away so I'd be interested, just need to do a little to my car for a trip up that way.

Thank you for your request to participate in our parade! This is confirmation of your entry in the Havre de Grace Independence Celebration Parade which is to be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013. Line-up will be at 1 p.m. at the Havre de Grace High School and the parade will begin at 2:00 p.m. Parade marshals will direct your group to its formation area.


You will not be assigned a parade position in advance.
Please do not call for this information.

Please enter the formation area via Juniata Street only.


** As a reminder, nothing may be thrown to spectators on the parade route! If you wish to distribute candy, it must be handed to spectators and not thrown. Prior approval must be obtained for distribution of anything other than candy. No literature of any type is permitted. This is at the request of our insurance carrier as well as the Havre de Grace Police Department. Please inform all members of your group of this request.

Parking at the line-up area is very limited. Please carpool if possible.

We reserve the right to withdraw our invitation if deemed necessary.

I'm out for Grace parade. Clutch in the 03 has been getting shakier(pun intended) here lately and 89vert has a slight miss. The miss just went away and is ok for the moment but I cant have an issue in my hometown parade.Just haven't had the time to do any car stuff, its all been House house house.. As far as the dog friendly part Dave.We just settled in March and we haven't got our fence yet. With our 100 lb chocolate lab who thinks she's a puppy we might have a mess on our hands. Scott

Dang, a rare club event in Harford County and in Havre de Grace, too - right where we live. Unfortunately, that is our family reunion in Chambersburg, PA so we won't be able to make it but we sure would have if not for the reunion.

With only three cars in the parade procession, we have withdrawn from the parade for this year. We will try again year.
