White Marsh 2013 Holiday Parade - December 7th

i have some parts left over from the 03 GT. I have a newclutch cable and firewall adjuster, a like brand new outdoor cover(covercraft) , new trick flow upper plenum and new75mm throttle body..i have an extra(new) key fob too(blue).

Just wanted to confirm that we plan to be in the parade and I think we are listed in Dave Rummel's list at the beginning of this thread.

This is a rain or shine event, I believe. It looks like the weather may be a little iffy.

Dave, I just heard from Dolly Kelly that both she and her son had planned on coming to the parade but both are very sick. Her son is in the hospital and she is about ready to go there herself as she has a really bad cold, probably the flu.

I don't know if you were counting on her to attend but she notified me on Facebook about her situation.

Jeff and I will not make the parade after all this year, too much going on. We and the lead-sagna will be at the Holiday party on the 14th!

We did have a nice little turnout again today for the White Marsh Parade and it was indeed a pleasure meeting you today Scott. Loved your new Blue Mustang! :btu:

This is my first event with The Red Baron and it was really something special! Along the parade route I had my windows open and the heat blasting so that I could interact with the crowd. I got a lot of thumbs up and one girl shouted out that she wanted my car! :grinking:

Afterward Linda Queen, Clark, Dawn, Christie and little Rebecca all went to the Green Turtle for lunch. Everyone enjoyed themselves even though it was cold but at least it was dry.

Hats off to our parade leader Don and his blue 73' Fastback for getting everyone up to speed on the rules for the parade. Kudos to Dave Rummel for organizing and promoting the parade. We had several people cancel out at the last minute but still had a nice turnout.

I'll post my photos tomorrow as we have dinner plans for the evening.

I'd like to thank all the drivers and welcome a newbie to the parade gang--Glad to have you at the parade today Scott

It was cold and the wait seemed longer than ever this year but......It wasn't raining

While it was cold out there, especially when everyone had to clean up and detail their cars after an all day rain on Friday and driving through wet roads Saturday morning to get to White Marsh, all of the cars looked great for the parade. Than many of us further decorated our cars for the Christmas season. Don lent me a wreath to place on the front of my car while others made their cars look like wrapped Christmas presents.

We had a visit from Mc Gruff, the crime dog, who was excited to be photographed along with the Mustangs!

The Pets on Wheels folks were out in great number with many of the dogs wearing colorful outfits and enjoying the brisk weather.

Last year my brother rode shotgun with me and took a lot of pictures of the rest of the participants in the parade. I'm glad that you got the Mr. Peanut vehicle and some photos along the parade route too. This is a fun parade although it is over for us in about 10 minutes. Its nice that some other members posted their pictures as everyone seems to get a different perspective of the parade and all that is going on behind the scenes.
