For those of you who could not make this parade I hope that these pictures gave you a sense of the festive atmosphere we all saw and felt during the day. This was a day long event but everyone had a really nice time. I hope to see more people attend next year!

Your welcome! The reason I take so many photos is to let everyone know how much fun these events can be and hopefully get more people to participate.

It's your club and the people who head up these events work really hard to make sure that everyone has a good time. You only get the same amount of satisfaction out of the club equal to the amount of effort your willing to invest with the club. :btu:

some people had such a good time that they ran the parade twice!

And that was because the club did have such a low turn out that the members who ran the Parade twice was in support of our club to be togather and to make our club seam more in numbers for this event !

Just to have only a few cars in the Parade seamed not nearly enough if there where more at this event then i'm sure they would have run the Parade only once but like i said they felt that there support to run again was needed.

I am very sorry to have missed the parade. I share your sentiments about few participants. Help me out in understanding how anyone could run the parade twice since MCOM was third group from the end of it. ?????

I think I know what Steve is talking about. We had five cars further forward in the parade to drive a few VIPs. I know the front of the parades stepped off at least an hour and 15 minutes before the MCoM parade group got started. I am assuming that the Silver Convertible circled back around after dropping off their VIP at the end and joined the MCoM parade group before they stepped off.

I am glad they did that. I am not sure if they enjoyed the parade that much or did it to bolster the club presents. Either way, It was a nice effort.

I’d like thank Bill Lorenz for helping organizing our Crew. He bought them over from MAC and got them lined up. Then he got the convertibles in their various locations for the VIP rides. He even recruited a friend with a black convertible to drive VIPs. He was great help.

I’d also like to say thanks to ALL the new volunteers who stepped up without knowing other members or what to expect from participating in a parade.

As I mentioned earlier my brother Alan rode along with me for the parade. When I spoke with him yesterday he reminded me that we forgot to thank Virgo Lady and her son for providing donuts to the club members at the parking lot where we met. :btu:

Dave Rummel sent me a CD with photos from the St. Patrick's Day Parade. I will try to post a lot of these photos as they are outstanding!

Dave is kind of modest about his photography skills but he has done an absolute brilliant job of covering this event for the club. He has taken photos of every ones car at various spots along the parade route and has truly captured the moment!

Now I'm hoping that I'll be able to download these photos onto the forum.
