I had a great time at the Dundalk parade which was my first. Seeing the cars and doing the parade was a blast. During the parade, one of you behind me (couldn’t tell who) kept revving the engine which always got the crowd cheering. As a newbie to this, I am not comfortable switching the transmission into neutral while the car is still moving and then hitting the accelerator. What I kept hoping was that the lead car would stop, make some sort of hand gesture for us all to stop, and then we all could have revved our engines together. Can you imagine how great that would have been to hear 12 Mustangs at once revving in front of the judges! That would put a smile on everyone’s face and their hands to their ears!!! Perhaps next time.

Jamie - Thanks again for a great time and I can’t wait for the next one.

Ron

Yes. Went to Hershey for the day, then to the Heart and Def Leppard concert in the evening. As always Ann and Nancy never disappoint (seen them 6 times over the years) and Def Leppard put on one heck of a stage show (better than a couple of years ago). Timing of the concert was great because the 7/7 concert in Cincy has been rescheduled due to family health issues with Def Leppard.

Unfortunately could not get to the Dundalk parade. We left at 7am and did not get home until 2am on the 4th. No condition to wake up at 5:45 to get to Dundalk by 7:15. Maybe next year.

I want to thank everyone who was able to make it out to a parade or two. It turned out to be a sunny, bright day, although a little hot. We had the ability to show some new members what it's like to pride ourselves as a club. Sometimes it's hard to take time out of the day on a holiday but we had a great group for each parade.

Thanks again! :btu:

At least the parades were early enough for everyone to enjoy the rest of the day.
