Mustang Club of Maryland

BRUCE, Linda and I enjoyed this Hershey Cruise. The trip to Tydings Park from Mt. Airy was a little long, 1hr, 45min @ 80 mph average. You did your home work, the goodie bag that you provided was GREAT, and the Directions were also GREAT also. We enjoyed cruising thru Havre de Grace, into Pa. CJ Pony Parts, looking at some of the local mustangs, as well as some of the other Special Mustangs. The visit to the AACA Auto Museum was very interesting, Linda and I will be going back to spend more time looking at all the wonderful cars & trucks. The trip from the Museum to Handels Ice Cream was interesting. Some NUTCASE driving a Silver Lexus tried numerous times to crash into the rear of my Bullitt, and Cut in line where there was't any room for him. He even tried to get between Nate's Silver 2014, and Frank's Black 2014 Shelby several times! That NUTCASE finally turned off, and the rest of the trip to Handels became more enjoyable. Again Bruce we had a Wonderful Cruise, and thanks for pulling my tag#, I'll use the Cruise Prize today.

2008 Bullitt

I couldn't have put it better Ed. Very well organized. The chocolate and directions were great. We were behind you guys so we didn't get to experience the Lexus. Craig and I also had a blast on the cruise. Since my daughter's graduation party is today, yesterday was my father and son day for Father's day. We had a great time and we love the candle. My wife thought it was a can of syrup also. We burned it last night and this morning and the house smells like brownies.

I enjoyed catching up with some of you I have met before and meeting other's for the first time. This club truly has great people in it. It's the reason I've been a member since buying my Mustang back in 2001. Craig and I reviewed the videos from yesterday and we have some great footage. So I hope to put that together soon and I will post a link here when I do.

I might also say that for once I had the short drive to the start of the cruise since we live in Cecil County and Havre de Grace is my home town.

Ed, did you go to Havre de Grace by way of Philadelphia? The distance to Havre de Grace from Mt. Airy is about 75 miles. (Just yanking your chain and I hope the cruise was well worth the trip to Havre de Grace.)

Dave, Thanks for taking the "inflight" videos and I look forward to seeing them.

It seems that everyone enjoyed the day. We had long time members and a number of new members. We also ran into a Mustang owning couple from Maryland that is interested in joining MCOM so we invited them to join us for the day.

I heard about the crazy Lexus when we were at the ice cream stop. Jealousy is an ugly thing and I guess he was letting his jealousy show over the fact that we were driving all of these kick-a$$ Mustangs down the highway and all he had to drive was an overpriced Toyota.

Thanks to everyone that participated on the Hershey Cruise! It was an honor to give something back to the club. A special thank you to Jamie and Melissa Cleary for volunteering to take care of the back door on the road.
