Bob and i were talking last night and we thought it would be interesting to see what everyone does for your a living. if you own a business or help people out, it might be beneficial to you or the company you work for to get work for them. You don't have to go into much detail unless you want.


-Dan Heagy : I'm a printer by trade and work at Ridge Printing in Rosedale. been there 15 years. (wow that long) . and currently as most know the VP of MCOM.

-Bob Thompson : I work for Howard County Public Schools as a mechanic. I own my own shop in Westminster were I work in the evenings and Saturdays. Im also the current President of MCOM.

-Paul Mcandrew : I am a retired Shop teacher with time on my hands. I work intermittently for Plaza Ford doing DX driving work.

-Jim DeAngelis : I am a college instructor/professor at The Community College of Baltimore County in Catonsville. I teach all of the Automotive Technologies cirricullum for our Comprehensive (general) Auto program. Also, I am the program coordinator for both the Comprehensive Auto and our recent Collision Repair program.
My prior employment includes 7 years with Ford Motor Company as a Service Training Instructor, 5 years as a Ford dealer tech, and 8 years (both FT and PT during school) as an Electronic Security Tech.
I also spent 6 years with the MD Air National Guard as an Air Transpotation Specialist (AFSC 60555/2T255). I was with the 135th Mobile Aerial Port Flight, and volunteered to participate in the end of Dessert Success (late '92) and Operation Deny Flight over Bosnia in '93.

-Corey Jovan : I work for IES Communications located in Glen Burnie. I engineer and bid voice/data, video, security & AV systems for commercial and gov't projects. http://www.ies-co.com

-Errol Daum : I am a Pharmacist working for Neighborcare's Long Term Care division. We provide intravenous (IV) medications and clinical monitoring for patients in nursing homes.

-Mark Smith : Environmental Analyst for the State Highway Administration...wetlands and streams...yes, the Highway Department does alot for the environment while building and maintaining the highways..Maryland is at the forefront of Transportation related environmental work.
Part-time Sales Manager at Autozone..Middle River Store.

-Merci Drane : I work for 1st Mariner Bank in the mortgage department. I am the one that prepares all the docs you sign when you buy a house.
Part time I do window tinting on the weekends usually at my mom's house in Pasadena.

-Jack Hardy : I do commercial and residential flooring contractor. 29 years in the trade

-Ryan Wagner : I just sold my consulting firm....
Computer software/Network Engineering...started it in 2005.....not bad to be pseudo retired at 31

-Jaime Meilczasz : I am currently a financial balancing analyst (think accounting) at Morgan Stanley

-Tony : I work for AA County, Dept. of Public Works in Glen Burnie

"I think people are so passionate about Mustang because it gives you a sense of freedom. especially in a red convertible.

Currently I am enrolled in the School of Life where I am taking up Time and Space. I do Gopher and Honey-Do stuff on the side. I am very good at holding things and giving questionable advice. Actually, I have been in the Monkey Business for 60+ years.

Well I am currently a financial balancing analyst (think accounting) at Morgan Stanley. However, I found out this past week that my job is being outsourced to India so I don't know what my future holds

Why I waited so long to advertise my wife and her brothers business, who knows? Tricia and her brother own an excavation company called James C. Wilson Excavating, inc. The business was started by their father, James C. Wilson Sr. in 1973. He served in Viet Nam as a heavy equipment mechanic/ operator. Upon his discharge from the army, with James Jr about three years old and Tricia was still in mamas belly, Jim started his company. It was just him at first, doing odd jobs to make ends meet. Then he started getting busy, and was able to hire some employees. Two of these employees are still with the company to this day. His company built many roads in Harford County, maybe one near you! Jim's wife, Tricia's mother was killed in 1989 in a small plane crash, Jim was seriously injured. With the help of other companies in the area, his business survived while he healed. Tricia and James came to own the company prematurely in December of 2005 when Jim died of cancer at 58 years old. The current status of the company is still good, although could be better. I will be starting a new job as an Independent Regional Manager for Crescent Processing Company of Dallas, Texas.

I will be calling on small to medium sized businesses advising them and offering them credit card processing services that will allow them to compete equally with the largest stores and businesses in the country.
