Do you have healthy pets?

We used to take our Lulu with us when we had a campsite in Chestertown, MD. She loved riding in the back of my 1996 Chevy Blazer. We would always stop at McDonalds in Elkton, MD and my wife Barbara would go in and buy our lunch that we always ate outside near the truck. They had a large grassy area for pets and I would let Lu stretch her legs while Barb got lunch. She would always buy a hamburger for Lu which we would give her a piece at a time without the bun.

We always gave her some water to drink and she would be fine for the rest of the trip to Chestertown. Once we got to the campsite she immediately ran to out golf cart and we needed to take a ride through the campground.

When we sold our 35' trailer, golf cart and 16' bowrider boat it was heartbreaking to see the new family ride in the golf cart and Lu couldn't understand why she couldn't ride with them. :nono:

Great story. We used to have to make these trips up to western Maryland and well it was a long trek and so I'd take Heidi and on the return we'd stop at Old Country Buffet. It would be about 7 pm and so my wife and I would heist some chow and then feed Heidi. We'd have steak, shrimp, bread and she loved bread! So from them on she'd know exactly where we were and she'd be real happy. As she got older I tried not to feed her so much stuff because we didn't want her to get over weight.

I was thinking about our Heidi and her adventurres with her people and I found a couple of pictures of her and the cats when I would cook and have deer meat. I use beer when I smoke brisket or ribs and so I had a little left over and I gave it too Heidi. She might have gotten tipsy because she slept the rest of the day; I never told my wife I did that because she'd still be giving me an earful.... :blink:

My white cat could smell my deer meat I had up on the counter and I got this picture of her. Heidi loved deer meat in any form as you can see.

A while back some questions were asked about convertibles and well this is my car with my "keep" Carmine thinking the car is more his than mine. I have been lucky as he doesn't use his claws but then again I do have several blankets to protect the car.
