NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series

Heartland Park Topeka was the site of Sunday's Summer Nationals, won by Spencer Massey, (RFC) Robert Hight and Shane Gray.

In Top Fuel, Massey beat Bob Vandergriff, 3.914 seconds, 312.78 mph vs. 3.962, 302.21 mph. Del Worsham leads Tony Schumacher by 79 points.

In Funny Car, Hight bested Ford Mustang teammate (RFC) Mike Neff, 4.284, 264.86 mph to 4.562, 215.27 mph. Jack Beckman qualified No. 1 in the Valvoline/Aaron's Dodge Charger and lost in the semifinals. Neff tops Beckman by 36 points.

In Pro Stock, Gray's Pontiac GXP ran 6.679, 206.95 mph to (RFC) Greg Stanfield's 6.693, 206.29 mph in a GXP. (RFC) Ron Krisher qualified the Valvoline GXP fifth and lost in the first round. (RFC) Jason Line has a 41 point margin over Greg Anderson.
