Dan; The Cobra Jet engine has long been a legendary engine for Ford. Bob Tasca of Tasca Ford in Rhode Island helped create the legend of the 428 Cobra Jet engine when he placed one in a Mustang. The engineers at Ford claimed it could not be done but Bob Tasca proved them wrong and the rest as they say is history! The 428 Cobra Jet engines often take a back seat to the 429 Boss Mustangs but the 428's were much better real world engines. Midnight Blue MCOM Historian |
