We used to take our Lulu with us when we had a campsite in Chestertown, MD. She loved riding in the back of my 1996 Chevy Blazer. We would always stop at McDonalds in Elkton, MD and my wife Barbara would go in and buy our lunch that we always ate outside near the truck. They had a large grassy area for pets and I would let Lu stretch her legs while Barb got lunch. She would always buy a hamburger for Lu which we would give her a piece at a time without the bun.
We always gave her some water to drink and she would be fine for the rest of the trip to Chestertown. Once we got to the campsite she immediately ran to out golf cart and we needed to take a ride through the campground.
When we sold our 35' trailer, golf cart and 16' bowrider boat it was heartbreaking to see the new family ride in the golf cart and Lu couldn't understand why she couldn't ride with them.
